- According to YouTube automatic captions, while the trade is underway, John Crichton explains that he is an astronaut from Earth who was sent through a wormhole and now travels aboard a living ship called Moya. Aeryn Sun reveals that she was raised as a Peacekeeper soldier and has never been alone in her life. Pilot tells the others that his species is bonded to Leviathans, a bond that places the ship and crew above personal harm.
- As the samples are processed, Nar tells the crew that his genetic database holds information on nearly 11 million species and that the star charts he is offering draw on that store.
