Summary

Dream a Little Dream is the eighth episode of the second season of Farscape, the science fiction series that aired on the Sci-Fi Channel.^[1][3] In the story, Zhaan recounts to John Crichton her trial on the planet Litigara, where she was accused of a murder she did not commit.^[4]

What happens in "Dream a Little Dream"?

Aboard Moya, John Crichton asks Zhaan what happened on Litigara, and the episode follows her account.^[4] On the planet, Zhaan and Rygel XVI find that every inhabitant seems to be a lawyer, and Zhaan is arrested for crossing against the signal.^[4] The charge soon becomes the murder of the planet's Rights Advocate for the Utilities, and Rhumann, a public counselor, takes her defense while Pilot urges Zhaan and Rygel to return because Moya is anxious to leave.^[4] The case turns on witnesses' memory of a Litigaran with blue eyes, and a confession to the killing finally clears Zhaan.^[4]
