Premise

A twist of fate causes John Crichton to be chosen as the unwilling groom in an upcoming royal wedding on a planet far from Moya.[1]

What happens in "Look at the Princess, Part 2: I Do, I Think"?

Crichton explains to his hosts that he is an astronaut who was shot through a wormhole and is now lost in a distant part of the universe, living aboard a ship that is itself alive.[4] Prince Clore's contact orders him to stay close to the Princess and to kill him if he ever assumes the crown, revealing that the wedding is a trap rather than a coronation.[4]

On Moya, the ship's priest Kal reports that Moya has given birth to a male offspring called Talyn, a gunship not of her choosing, and declares his intent to decommission her so she cannot reproduce gunships again.[4] Pilot finds that Moya is shutting her own systems down and that he cannot override the sequence.[4] Chiana urges Aeryn Sun to tell Crichton how she feels, and Aeryn replies that men are stupid and must be told things.[4] A contact is also told to insert a trans-sequence ident chip before ascending so that transport P will not register as a Leviathan transport.[4]
