What happens in "Dog With Two Bones"?

Almost as soon as the crew reaches the sacred ground, Moya is attacked without warning by another, rogue Leviathan, which inflicts heavy damage on her systems.^[4] From the nature of the damage to Moya's nerval crytex, Pilot concludes that only another Leviathan could have struck with such precision.^[4]

Moya asks the crew to kill the rogue so that Talyn can be laid to rest in the Sacred Place.^[4]

During the standoff, Pilot notes that the other Leviathan's Pilot has not yet answered his attempts at communication, so the crew must act without a counterpart on the other side.^[4]
