- What happens in "Meltdown"?
- Talyn is then drawn into the corona of a sun by unusual radiation pulses, and the crew can only hold him in orbit against the pull. According to YouTube automatic captions, after the near miss, a Drexum mist leaks from Talyn's conduits and acts on the crew as an adrenal stimulant, sharpening their senses and their tempers.
- An entity named Sierra, the dead pilot of a perished Leviathan, appears to Crichton and explains that she has been trapped between realms by McQuillis. McQuillis then beams aboard Talyn and warns the crew that the star is a siren star that has already killed eighty-three Leviathans, urging them to evacuate. He explains that he can switch between matter and energy states and that he lives in the corona of the siren star itself. YouTube automatic captions record that Sierra reveals that McQuillis has been contracted by the Petria, a ship-building race that sees Leviathans as competition, to lure them to their doom.
- YouTube automatic captions state that Crais fires on McQuillis and forces him to withdraw from Talyn.
