9. The episode opens with a recap in which Crais recalls a childhood dream of outer space and the Moya crew debates going their separate ways. Pilot then reports that Crichton is beyond their range, and a wormhole pulls the ship in, throwing Crichton clear of his friends. Now separated from Moya, Crichton calls out on the communicator hoping Pilot will hear him and let him back in. Cut to him alone aboard the dying Leviathan Elack, singing opera and humming to Elack's Pilot, and joking that he has nearly finished "Wormholes For Dummies."

A woman called Sikozu follows it aboard with creatures close behind her and asks Crichton what he is going to do for her. YouTube automatic captions state that Crichton answers with his standard three-years-ago summary of who he is and what has happened to him, including the line about warning Earth. According to YouTube automatic captions, Because Sikozu cannot tolerate translator microbes, she teaches him words by pointing at things while he sings the alphabet to fix them in his mind.
11. YouTube automatic captions record that a much larger vessel approaches and Crichton realizes Elack is muerta and cannot starburst to escape. YouTube automatic captions state that Sikozu explains that the Grudeks are toubray hunters who harvest Leviathan neural tissue for cultures that consume it to enhance brain function. Crichton argues her work is more like Jacques Cousteau than murder because she steered the Grudeks toward dying Leviathans. According to YouTube automatic captions, when the Grudeks breach Elack and begin fumigating the interior, Sikozu drags Crichton into a sealed compartment to keep them alive. YouTube automatic captions record that Crichton unsuccessfully tries to negotiate with the Grudeks and tells them to leave in a made-up Klingon phrase, and when Sikozu shoots a Grudek to make the rest think he is dead, their Warlord releases a Brindz Hound.
12. YouTube automatic captions state that Sikozu explains the Brindz Hound is a blood hunter and the two look for a pressure hatch to a crawl space, disagreeing about where it should be.
13. According to YouTube automatic captions, when Crichton asks Sikozu whether she has seen Moya, she tells him the ship was swallowed. The episode closes on Moya, where Pilot reports that Crichton is beyond their range and a wormhole pulls the ship in, throwing Crichton clear of his friends and leaving him alone.
