- Summary
- Bringing Home the Beacon is the sixteenth episode of season four of Farscape. The women of Moya travel to a commerce settlement to acquire a sensor distorter that can camouflage the living ship against long-range scans, and there they come up against high-ranking Peacekeepers and Scarrans who arrive with a new mission and a new danger. The episode appears on this page because the rights holder uploaded it to its own YouTube channel.
- What happens in "Bringing Home the Beacon"?
- On Moya, Ka D'Argo notices that Rygel XVI has stopped eating for an unusually long stretch, the first sign that something is off. The women take a transport pod to a commerce settlement that Sikozu identifies as built inside the carcass of a dead Leviathan fused to a planetoid, where traders have made a home of an old ship. Aeryn Sun is there to find a sensor distorter she can fit to Moya so the ship can pass long-range scans undetected.
- A negotiator agrees to sell her one but insists on half payment up front and a four-arn wait to take Moya's sensor modulator off the ship, conditions that leave the women exposed on the station while the work is done. Before long, Commandant Grayza and Braca arrive at the settlement with four SSD Commandos and jam the women's comms, cutting them off from Moya and the men. Soon after, Scarran War Minister Ahkna, third in rank of the Scarran fleet, also reaches the settlement and is shown into a meeting with Grayza.
- In a massage parlor, a Nebari called Marella corners Chiana and paralyzes her from the neck down by pressing on a nerve. With the meeting heard and the trap closing, Aeryn at one point floats the idea of assassinating Grayza while the chance is there.
- Bringing Home the Beacon The episode as published by the rights holder, from the start of the upload to its end.
- Memorable quotes
