Welcome to the Heartipedia blog
Hello, and welcome. Heartipedia is an encyclopedia with one rule: every page shows where it came from. Its pages are drafted by AI from sources you can open, each sentence is checked against those sources, and readers can suggest an edit when something is wrong.
An encyclopedia page has to stay neutral and stick to its subject. That leaves some useful things with nowhere to go: how to read a page like this critically, why a source was trusted or thrown out, what we learned when a check caught a mistake. This blog is the place for them.
What to expect
We plan to publish one post a day, on days when we have something real to say. Most posts will answer one question you might actually search for, and will do three things:
- Answer in the first lines, so you can stop reading if that is all you needed.
- Link each figure and claim about the world to the source it came from, at the spot it is stated.
- Say what we do not know, and where sources disagree.
The subjects will be the ones Heartipedia covers and the method behind it. If we cannot back a post with real sources, we will not publish one that day.
Where to begin
Our first proper post asks how you can tell if an AI-written article is accurate. The list of new pages shows what has been added to the encyclopedia itself, and the blog's feed brings each post to your feed reader.
Thanks for reading. If a post gets something wrong, we want to hear about it.
